PstFemi later switched to advertising, working in an agency rated 6th in Nigeria in terms of billings at the time.

In furtherance of self development and actualization, Akomolede lived and worked in the UK (1988-93). While there, he started a radio-like transmission service on leased lines from British Telecom. That novelty later led to the publication of a newspaper, Nigeria Weekly for Nigerians in the Diaspora. See more
